Parish Hall Refurbishment

Phase 1 (2011)

The first phase of the refurbishment project was completed in the summer of 2011, when the hall was equipped with a new gas fuelled heating system replacing the 25 year old radiant heaters. This new system heats the halls quickly, is more efficient and cheaper to to run.

Phase 2 (2012)

The main hall received a new lighting system and was given a new refreshing new colour scheme. The whole building got new curtains.

Phase 3 (2013)

Fireplace in the Main HallThe 3rd phase in the summer of 2013 was the revamping of the wooden flooring in the main hall and the balcony area resulting in the floors looking like a new!

The two fireplaces had been previously boarded up but we took the opportunity to reveal them as a feature of the hall. They had not been used for years and for safety reasons wouldn't ever be available for use again so the chimneys were sealed, hearths were removed and the fireplaces were revealed and renovated. Hope you like them.

The Parish Hall were grateful to receive a £4000 grant to refurbish the flooring from the Veolia Environmental Trust. Click here for full article on the Veolia website.

Phase 5 (2015)
